Contemporary Music
The Contemporary Music Policy is currently under review. The new Action Plan will be available in 2010 and you will find all the details under Creating Value - An Arts and Culture Sector Policy Framework.
Between 2001 and 2009, the WA State Government invested over $8.3 million towards the development of the Western Australian contemporary music industry. The interim report tracks the impact of the State Government’s Contemporary Music Strategy from 2001 to 2004 and evidences the growth of a burgeoning and talented sector. The report forms the basis for future evaluation of the Government’s Contemporary Music Program over the forthcoming years.
