Congratulations to Toby Whittington of FORMALLYKNOWNAS who has been appointed as the local designer to create the uniforms for the State Theatre Centre.

The Department of Culture and the Arts and Perth Theatre Trust (PTT) are planning for the opening events of the State Theatre Centre, which will be presented over a week-long period.

On 11 December the Minster for Culture and the Arts, John Day visited the State Theatre Centre site for the testing of the Nomad powered flying system which moves stage scenery and lights inside the fly tower.

As Venue Managers for Perth Theatre Trust venues, AEG Ogden (Perth) Pty Ltd has confirmed the appointment of Alice Jorgenson and Graham Piper as the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia Deputy General Manager and Technical Manager, respectively. 

Perth Theatre Trust has today confirmed that the General Manager for the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia will be Brendon Ellmer.

The new performing arts venue in Northbridge will be called the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia, to be generally known as the State Theatre Centre.
