iArts - Digital Initiative

In 2008 Western Australian artists, arts organisations, designers and musicians were invited to collaborate with digital media producers to create web-based, audience-interactive digital projects under the new iArts initiative.

iArts is a joint project between the Department of Culture and the Arts, ScreenWest and ABC TV and will see successful arts projects uploaded to ABC Online and delivered to audiences through a number of ABC portals.

Western Australian digital producers in partnership with WA arts organisations or artists were invited to apply to this program which funded a minimum of two works to be published on the ABC’s online site, podcast, vodcast, or transmitted on mobile or ABC TV platforms.

Applications for iArts closed on July 21, 2008.

Application forms were available on the ScreenWest website. Applications were required to be submitted through ScreenWest.
